New Art_Music_Benefit 2015.pub (Recovered)I have been looking forward to August and connecting with my friends in Michigan again.

The activity of the weekend will be an Harbor Arts fund raising event, Art and Music of the Evening – Friday, August 28th beginning at 5:30 pm – meet artists at the Journeyman Distillery, 6:30 – appetizers and mingling at the Acorn Theater with 7:30 pm – musical entertainment.

I attended the event as a supporter of the arts last year. I can clearly say that the committee knows how to make people welcome and host an enjoyable evening, without any doubt.

I am honored to have been invited to have my work showcased and am happy to donate some artwork too.

You should be there and bring friends, it is very reasonably priced at $40 per person.  Expect to mingle, meet artists, enjoy appetizers and cocktails. There will be opportunities add to your art collection and witness a very passionate performer, all while supporting Three Oaks Arts for the betterment of the community. The evening culminates for participants to enjoy a delightful show featuring Maurice LoMonoco, international tenor.

Visual artists of the evening:  Dave Knoebber – watercolors; Lee Bauman – watercolor & acrylic painting; Susan Henshaw – Seascapes; Jon Hook – Pottery

I understand that also on display will be artwork by Dorothy Tristan
